Early in the morning, we will set off for the Filo de Merlo trail. The route is designed for mixed terrain, with low-difficulty asphalt and dirt roads.
We will pass through Villa General Belgrano and begin our journey towards Luti to start descending the Filo.
The Hotel Estilo Mb will welcome us with an excellent dinner to close out the first day.

Section 1: Carlos Paz – Santa Rosa de Calamuchita 100 km of paved road.
Section 2: Santa Rosa de Calamuchita – La Cruz 41 km of paved road.
Section 3: La Cruz – Merlo 80 km of gravel road.

Our second day of travel will take us along the Camino del Peregrino, or for those with a good memory, the famous Giulio Cesare. The High Peaks of Cordoba. After a stretch of paved road, we will head towards Copina via the Puentes Colgantes (Suspension Bridges) to arrive in Carlos Paz for our second night.

The day of Los Gigantes has arrived. Early in the morning, we will begin our journey to Cuchilla Nevada and the Oro Grueso Mine. The road will take us to the entrance of the Oro Grueso Mine, ending in Huerta Grande, where we will rest after a day of pure earth.

Section 1: Carlos Paz – Cuchilla Nevada. 16 km of paved road to Tanti, then 46 km of gravel road.
Section 2: Cuchilla Nevada – Candelaria. 24 km of gravel road.
Section 3: Candelaria – Huerta Grande. 55 km of gravel road.

We will start the last day of our trip heading towards Candonga, one of Córdoba's historic roads. After a stretch of paved road, we will arrive at Ascochinga via the road that connects the two towns through the middle of the Cordoba mountains. From the summit, we will begin our return trip to Carlos Paz and end this incredible journey through the center of the country.

Registration & Payment

  • To confirm the reservation, a payment of 30% of the tour price in Argentine pesos is required, which implies acceptance of these terms and cancellation policies. The balance must be paid 15 days before the scheduled departure.
  • The percentage and the final payment made by each passenger will depend on the cancellation schedule of the contracted services, allowing time margins so that no personal funds have to be advanced.

    In case of cancellation due to bad weather, at the organizer’s discretion the deposit may be fully refunded or credited toward rescheduling.

    Cancellation Policies

    For cancellations by the passenger, the policies of the confirmed ground services will apply.

    • Between 40 and 31 days prior to departure: 10%
    • Between 30 and 20 days prior to departure: 25%
    • 15 days or fewer prior to departure: 100%

    Percentages depend on payments made for the services. The deposit is non-refundable except in specific cases such as illness or a serious issue that prevents the trip (of the traveler or an immediate family member), and it also depends on the cancellation date. These highly specific cases may not be detailed here; if asked, please clarify and, if possible, leave a written note in the chat with the passenger.

    Our escorted group departures require a minimum of 10 passengers. If the minimum is not met, ROADBOOK reserves the right to cancel at least 20 days before the tour’s departure, and the passenger may choose between:
    (a) Requesting a change to an alternative destination from Roadbook’s scheduled trips, subject to the fare and re-quotation published in the selected program; or
    (b) Requesting a refund of the amount paid, which will be made in the same currency in which the client paid, with no compensation due from Roadbook.
